DescriptionMother Mary Lange Catholic School is seeking a faith-filled, dedicated, and enthusiastic Religion Teacher for the academic school year
. The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering students' spiritual growth while delivering engaging, standards-based religious instruction aligned with the curriculum and mission of the Archdiocese of Baltimore
.
Essential Functions
- Follow the guidelines and tenants of the Catholic Church and the curriculum of the Archdiocese of Baltimore.
- Create and implement lesson plans with clear objectives in line with the Archdiocesan Course of Study, utilizing techniques to motivate, challenge, engage, and inspire students to think confidently and independently.
- Be responsible for the safety and active supervision of students.
- Integrate the use of technology effectively into the curriculum.
- Communicate with parents in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform recess and lunch duties as scheduled.
- Support the Catholic spirituality and mission of the school.
- Attend various school events such as Back to School Night, Graduations, and Open House.
Position Qualifications
- Must be an active, practicing Catholic fully able to participate in the life of the Church.
- Maryland certified or willing to pursue MD certification.
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
Pay Rate: $48,000, Annualized
