City Year seeks Ameri Corps Members to serve full-time in public schools, supporting students' academic and social-emotional growth. In this education-focused role, you'll provide tutoring, mentor students, assist in classrooms, and lead small-group interventions. You'll collaborate with school staff and a diverse team to create a positive learning environment. Responsibilities

• Provide in-class and after-school academic support to students
• Build positive relationships and mentor students to promote social-emotional growth
• Track student attendance, engagement, and progress using provided tools
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to support classroom instruction
• Lead or assist with small group activities and interventions
• Support school-wide events and family engagement activities
• Participate in City Year training, coaching, and professional development
• Model inclusive, equity-focused behavior aligned with City Year values
