Affordable Housing Training Associate

Enterprise is a national nonprofit that exists to make a good home possible for the millions of families without one. We support community development organizations on the ground, aggregate and invest capital for impact, advance housing policy at every level of government, and build and manage communities ourselves. Since 1982, we have invested $92.0 billion and created 1.1 million homes across all 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands – all to make home and community places of pride, power and belonging.

At Enterprise, you'll be part of a diverse, committed team making a difference every day. You will collaborate with some of the smartest minds and biggest hearts in our field. You'll be empowered to drive systems change and take bold steps to advance racial equity. And you will find a career home where you're valued and supported in your growth journey.

This role offers an opportunity to take your experience in affordable property management, affordable housing, or community development and use it to help employees across our Community Development division build the knowledge and skills they need to succeed. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong facilitation skills, adult learning expertise, and experience in property management or affordable housing. The position offers a hybrid schedule with semi-monthly travel to the Columbia office for new hire orientation and requires comfort engaging teams of all sizes both in person and virtually.

If you love presentation, building interactive content, and supporting people at every level, this role is your chance to shine. You'll collaborate across teams, design blended learning, and drive development that truly empowers our Community Development division. Want to help shape the future of learning in a mission driven organization? Apply today and be part of something meaningful!

As an Affordable Housing Training Associate, you will bring your affordable housing and property management expertise to an experienced Learning & Development team. You do not need to have spent your career in a traditional Learning & Development role. We are interested in professionals who have experience sharing their knowledge with others, whether through training team members, providing technical assistance, leading presentations, supporting new employees, or explaining new systems, processes, regulations, and requirements.

As part of the Learning & Development team, you will build upon that experience and continue developing your training, facilitation, and presentation skills. You will learn to create and deliver engaging learning experiences in virtual, in-person, and one-on-one environments while helping new hires and existing employees strengthen their technical knowledge and master key property management systems such as Voyager, Rent Cafe, and Elise AI.

This is a hybrid Maryland-based role with semi-monthly travel to the Columbia office for new hire orientation. The position requires someone who is comfortable sharing their expertise with others and interested in continuing to grow their ability to train and present to teams of different sizes, both virtually and in person.

If you have built your career in affordable housing or property management and have become someone others turn to for guidance, technical assistance, training, or help understanding how things work, this could be an opportunity to use that expertise in a new way while developing the skills to become an effective trainer and facilitator.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Apply your affordable housing, property management, and community development knowledge to support employees across the organization.
  • Help employees understand affordable housing and property management practices, processes, systems, and other technical information necessary to perform their roles effectively.
  • Design and deliver technical and soft skills training programs tailored to employee needs in property management and community development.
  • Share technical knowledge through presentations, training sessions, demonstrations, guides, manuals, and other…
