Lower School Substitute Teacher

Position Summary

Gilman School is seeking experienced educators to work as substitute teachers in our Lower School, grades K-5. Qualified candidates will be posted on our list of lower school substitutes and hired on a per diem basis as needed. A successful candidate should possess the ability to implement a teacher’s lesson plan, work with lower school students, and collaborate with a grade level team of teachers.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Prior elementary/lower school teaching experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with all-boys education is highly desirable.
