Instructional Assistant, PreK; NE Archbishop Borders School, Baltimore MD

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Cultivating a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
• Preparing age-appropriate materials and organizing resources for students.
• Assisting with instructional activities and integrating technology to create a 21st-century learning environment following ISTE Standards.
• Providing one-on-one or small-group support to students needing additional assistance.
• Collaborating with teachers, staff, students, and parents to support student progress.
• Ensuring the safety and active supervision of students at all times and managing classroom behavior.
• Participating in faculty meetings, retreats, school committees, and in-service learning opportunities.
• Communicating professionally and timely with parents.

The company is looking for:

• A degree in Elementary Education and/or 90-hour childcare certification preferred.
• Experience in a Catholic School setting preferred.
• An active practicing Catholic.

• Hourly pay range of $17-18.
