Senor Civil Engineer / Civil Engineering Project Manager (Land Development)

Our client has been providing multi-disciplinary consulting services and project management expertise to clients in Virginia, Maryland, DC and across the Mid-Atlantic Region with an emphasis on civil engineering, surveying, land planning, urban design and landscape architecture. Their portfolio includes land development engineering, innovative new communities, mixed-use development, park and public open spaces, and site-specific design for commercial, institutional and recreational uses.

The Project Manager (PM) is typically the single point of contact for a client s needs on a project. The PM coordinates with all disciplines to ensure complete knowledge of the project and its progression at all times. The PM manages client needs and expectations, project schedules, budgets and is responsible for team efficiencies and productivity, and for meeting deadlines.

• 8+ years’ experience required, 3+ in a supervisory role
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is preferred.
• Land Development experience is required
• Technical proficiency in all aspects of engineering, including SWM/BMP, erosion and sediment control, storm sewer, sanitary, and water design
• Proficiency with computer applications including Auto Cad, Civil 3D, Haestad products, Excel and Word
