As a Quality Data Solutions Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will help develop analytical solutions for the Bio Production Group's Quality Operations.

A day in the Life
:

• You will bring center-led platforms to newly acquired business areas to drive robust support models across the function.
• Reconcile business processes between organizational data practices.
• Maintain a positive attitude that encourages teamwork with peers, commercial, operations, and other support functions while driving significant change.
• Perform logic and analytical exception management to drive favorable business performance, initiating corrective actions as required.
• Recommend improvement opportunities using analysis, reporting, and process flow understanding.
• Use PPI Business systems to drive continuous improvement by initiating cross-functional projects with defined deliverables to improve quality performance.
• Support analysis for related functions as necessary.
• Build presentations to report out to different levels of management.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Power
  
  BI Modeling, DAX. Databricks or equivalent experience a plus.
• Experience in using data and process optimization and automation to inspire change.
• Ability to effectively work with dispersed teams, maintaining clear communication and addressing blocking issues.
• Communication skills for engaging with business partners, the field, and corporate personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to independently take ownership of initiatives and drive execution.
• Agile, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced, demanding environment, transitioning from project to project as needed.
• Process improvement (PPI, lean, six sigma, etc.) preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $75,800.00–$.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
