Electrical Engineer

We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer or Electrical Designer with a degree in electrical engineering, possessing 5-10 years of experience. The ideal candidate should have their Engineer In Training (EIT) certification or plans to take the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam within the next two years. You will be responsible for providing electrical design solutions including drawings, conducting field surveys, performing design calculations, and creating electrical schedules independently.

Your expertise will contribute to designing power, lighting, communication, electronic security, and fire alarm systems.

• Provide electrical design solutions including creating drawings and writing field survey reports.
• Perform design calculations such as load calculations, wire and conduit sizing, and voltage drop.
• Develop electrical schedules for panel boards and light fixtures.
• Design power, lighting, communication, electronic security, and fire alarm systems.
• Utilize software such as BIM/Revit, CADD, ETAP/SKM, and Visual Lighting to execute tasks.
• Attend design and coordination meetings and conduct field surveys.
• Mentor junior staff and provide guidance.
• Execute construction phase review services, including submittal review, RFI responses, and changes.

• Revit proficiency is required.
• Experience with load calculations is required.
• Knowledge in power distribution, including single line, schematic, and riser diagrams.
• Experience using ETAP is required.
• 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• EIT certification or plans to take the FE exam within two years.

• AutoCAD proficiency is a plus.
• Candidates must be US Citizens due to client contracts.

This position offers a hybrid work environment with 3-4 remote workdays, and Tuesday as a mandatory office day after eight weeks or upon proven performance. Site visits are required up to three times a month within the DMV area. The role offers yearly bonuses and significant upward mobility opportunities.

This is a Permanent position based out of Baltimore, Maryland.

Pay range: $90,000.00 - $/yr.

This is a hybrid position in Baltimore, MD.
