Senior Electrical Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to serve as a technical leader on complex, large-scale building projects. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys partnering closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams to solve sophisticated engineering challenges.

Engineers in this group work on high-profile facilities where performance, reliability, and precision are critical. The Senior Electrical Engineer will act as the technical authority for assigned projects, leading electrical system design from concept through construction. The role includes direct client interaction, mentoring of junior staff, and collaboration with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and technology disciplines.

Projects typically include complex industrial, commercial, and infrastructure facilities.

• Serve as the technical lead for electrical engineering design on complex building projects
• Design and coordinate electrical systems
• Apply expert knowledge of local, state, and national building codes, including electrical and life-safety regulations
• Coordinate design efforts across disciplines to ensure integrated and constructible solutions
• Delegate and oversee work performed by project engineers, designers, and BIM/CAD staff
• Mentor and develop junior electrical engineers through training and technical guidance
• Act as a trusted technical resource for project teams and clients
• Support projects through all phases, including construction administration and field coordination
• Participate in client meetings and technical presentations as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering design for complex buildings
• Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
• Demonstrated experience leading engineering efforts through all phases of project delivery
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with clients
• Ability to travel occasionally as required by project needs (25% local)
• Authorization to work in the United States
