Pennoni is seeking a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation Team at our Baltimore, MD office.
The ideal candidate will be a person who has experience performing the following, but not limited to:
Job ResponsibilitiesLead the scoping, design and delivery of bridge replacement, system preservation and NBIS inspection tasks with MDTA, MDSHA, DDOT, DelDOT, USACE, CBBTD and other regional bridge owners. Provide guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff and coordinate load rating, NBIS bridge condition inspection projects and bridge preservation projects. Scope and deliver value engineering and construction engineering tasks with regional contractors.
RequiredAttributes
- Providing guidance and mentoring to engineers and technical staff
- MD SHA and MDTA bridge project delivery experience; DDOT and DelDOT experience a plus.
- Bridge and structure load rating experience using BrR, AASHTOware and other software packages.
- Experience with scope and price proposal development for bridge preservation and replacement projects.
- 3-D BIM modeling and proficiency with Open Bridge Modeler.
TARGET SALARY RANGE: $130k - $160k (per year)
