Mechanical Engineer (Junior to Mid-Level)

RCT Systems, Power Systems Division, is seeking Mechanical Engineers specializing in 3D electronics packaging, thermal system design, and hardware build and test. Responsibilities of a qualified Mechanical Engineer candidate will include:

• Package complex power converters, energy storage systems, and PLC systems
• Build and test complex power converters, energy storage systems, and PLC systems
• Design thermal management systems for power electronics
• Perform structural analysis for components, support structures, and ruggedized enclosures under harsh environmental conditions and shock and vibration
• Use FEA, CFD, and hand calculations for thermal and structural analysis
• Create, review, and issue prototype and production level drawings IAW GD&T standards
• Source vendors and communicate for quoting and procurement of custom parts
• Prepare and perform technical presentations and design reviews for customers
• Create and maintain process and build documentation in conjunction with operations team

• Lead cross‑functional teams to develop solid‑state power conversion systems
• Provide technical input into business development activities
