Overview
Provide Mechanical Engineering services for multi-discipline building design and other systems projects across commercial, institutional, and government clients. Example projects: HVAC & utility systems, wastewater treatment, lab hoods, and energy efficiency upgrades.
Responsibilities- Execute all phases of mechanical design from concept through construction documents
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Select and lay out mechanical systems, exploring alternative approaches
- Conduct code analyses and coordinate with other disciplines
- Participate in client meetings to define project scope
- Supervise and guide support staff
- Provide construction-phase engineering support
- Assist with bidding processes
- B.S. Mechanical Engineering from ABET-accredited program
- 2+ years experience in mechanical systems design
- EIT certification or eligibility
- Knowledge of building systems, codes, Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD
- U.S. Citizen able to obtain security clearance
