Assembly Manufacturing Process Engineer
Assembly Manufacturing Process Engineers serve as the bridge between the design team and the production floor. In this role, you will develop new structures and improve existing ones manufactured at ST Engineering MRAS, taking full ownership of the manufacturing process and effectively communicating with business leaders and certified operators.

What You Will Do1. Ensure adherence to existing engineering specifications, processes, and procedures that support manufacturing, including:
- Process Specifications
- Material Specifications
- Tooling design, manufacturing, and geometry buy‑off via modeling software
- Production/Manufacturing planning
- Support the development of detailed cost models and cost‑out concepts
2. Support the introduction of new products into the manufacturing environment by creating and reviewing NPI designs aspects such as:
- Manufacturability of design concepts
- Cost estimates and ROI for new concepts and designs to be automated
- Tooling concepts and production methodology
- Business reviews and technical insight into manufacturing
1. Critical Thinking
- Troubleshoot engineering issues that affect part quality, cost, and/or function
- Develop engineering metrics around productivity and part flow
2. Communication
- Employ operator manufacturing procedures, training manuals, and planning
- Effectively liaise with other functional groups
- Create engineering documentation to support manufacturing activities
- At least a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Some experience in manufacturing and engineering technology is preferred but not required
- Experience with CATIA or other CAD software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Salary range: $63,500 to $93,000 per year. Base salary is part of a competitive Total Rewards package.
