Electrical Engineering Internships/Co-ops

RCT Systems, Power Systems Division, is seeking Electrical Engineering interns to join our team for the summer and/or regular semester co‑op. Engineering interns will perform in one or more of several different areas including:

• Develop HMIs/GUIs for operation and testing of power converters.
• Detailed PCB design including system control PCBs and support hardware.
• Design and test embedded control algorithms for DSPs, FPGAs, and PLC controllers.
• Develop Controller‑Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (CHIL) test setups, control cards, and control algorithms using Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) real‑time simulators.
• Design and debug electrical simulation models used to derisk test setups.
• Testing of magnetic components (inductors, transformers).
• Develop test plans and procedures for systems nearing design completion.
• Analyze collected test data and develop reports and presentations.
