Job Overview

This role centers on developing a NAS 410 Level 2 Ultrasonic NDT Technician through the MRAS Ultrasonic Training Program. The technician will use pulse‑echo and through‑transmission ultrasonic methods to inspect aerospace composite components, ensuring they meet customer and technical requirements. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, evaluating test results, and making accept/reject determinations based on established criteria. The position also requires maintaining and calibrating ultrasonic equipment, managing safety‑related tools, and adhering to all safety and PPE standards.

Flexibility in work hours is essential to support production needs.

Responsibilities
  • Enter into the MRAS Ultrasonic Training Program with the goal to attain a NAS 410 Level 2 certification.
  • Perform evaluation of test results.
  • Provide ultrasonic inspection acceptance/rejection disposition on aerospace composite components.
  • Maintain equipment and perform calibration.
  • Control safety‑related equipment.
  • Comply with all safety and PPE requirements.
  • Work flexible shifts to support production.
Qualifications
  • Pass internal examination within 6 months.
  • Participate in the mandatory FAA Drug Test program.
  • Access to export‑controlled technology requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. Must be a U.S. Person or meet legal authorization and provide proof if hired.
  • Associate degree in Electronics or Mathematics highly preferred.
Desired Characteristics
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interface effectively with all levels within the company and with external regulatory agencies.
Compensation

Salary for this role: up to $26.44 per hour. ST Engineering considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, education/training/certification, job level, and work location. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
