Job Summary
The role supports Project Managers in various aspects of project execution, including estimating, cost tracking, change order management, submittals, transmittals, documentation, scheduling, and project closeout. Additional responsibilities involve coordinating contract requirements, performing material takeoffs, ordering materials, and ensuring timely delivery of finished products to the field.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in project team meetings and contribute to discussions.
- Collaborate closely with assigned staff to complete project-related tasks.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining project documentation.
- Provide support to production control and shop teams during the manufacturing of assemblies and components.
- Follow established company processes and standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Support cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment across various project scopes.
- Help identify and resolve project-related issues, including scheduling conflicts, order discrepancies, and addendums.
- Assist with procurement, transmittals, and oversight of fabrication processes.
- Attend and actively participate in project status meetings.
- Aid the Project Management Team with material takeoffs, procurement, submittals, and coordination between field and shop operations.
- Basic knowledge of architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, gather data, and develop effective solutions.
- Clear and effective communication of ideas and technical information; ability to manage conflict constructively.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
