We are seeking an entry‑level Civil Engineer to join our Traffic Engineering Group in our Baltimore, MD office.
ResponsibilitiesTraffic engineers design and analyze traffic signals, lane marking, roadway lighting, work zone traffic control, and ITS devices. They conduct traffic safety and operations studies, develop and apply Synchro, Sim Traffic, VISSIM, and VISUM models, and prepare technical reports and presentations. Assignments range from small‑scale intersection improvements to complex interchange, corridor projects, multimodal transportation plans, and parking studies. Project work may include client site visits.
Requirements- Must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
- Must have relevant internship or job experience related to transportation engineering.
- Must have 0–4 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to handle multiple assignments.
- Experience with Micro Station and/or AutoCAD; knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Positive attitude and willingness to work cooperatively with others.
The expected compensation range for this position is $72,000.00 – $97,000.00, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. The specific compensation may vary based on factors such as knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
