Job Overview
The Energy Solutions division of CMTA is the fastest growing division of our large and growing company. This position will work with a team of engineers to design, bid, project manage, and commission solar PV, battery and EV charging systems for various clients.
Responsibilities- Design solar PV, battery, and EV charging systems.
- Bid on projects.
- Project manage construction, including scheduling and budget.
- Commission and troubleshoot installed systems.
- 0-3+ years of experience.
- Experience with Revit/AutoCAD (preferred).
- Electrical engineering knowledge: develop, read, and discuss single line diagrams for PV systems.
- Energy modeling:
Real Power, Reactive Power & Apparent Power. - Solar: grid‑tied PV systems and components (preferred).
- Power Distribution: 3‑phase power systems (preferred).
- Construction: basic understanding of project management, workflows, and deadlines.
- Design: familiarity with SMA, Solar Edge, Fronius, and other inverter products (preferred).
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred).
