Responsibilities- Work as a Junior Field Technician supporting a major real‑estate and network relocation project on site in Baltimore, Maryland.
- Assist Senior Network Engineers in the design, planning, integration, migration and de‑commissioning of network layers including Outside Plant & Fibre, Inside Plant & Racks, Cabling, DWDM, SDH, IP, DCN and Critical Infrastructure (space, power, cooling).
- Utilise bespoke inventory systems and apply a methodical, logical approach to data analysis and manipulation.
- Travel as required.
- Demonstrate enthusiasm, motivation and willingness to learn and take on responsibility.
- Degree or MSc in an Engineering subject.
- Knowledge of telecommunications principles.
- Conversant with Microsoft Office.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- IP principles and networks experience desirable.
- Advanced Excel or Access skills.
- AC/DC power experience desirable.
- Practical/hands‑on experience with telecommunications equipment (routers, switches, etc).
