The Role McKnight International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure, transportation, aviation, capital improvement, engineering, construction, and technology-related projects throughout Maryland.
This role is responsible for managing projects through all phases of delivery while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams to successfully deliver complex infrastructure and capital improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate combines strong project management expertise with transportation, aviation, engineering, construction, infrastructure, or consulting experience and possesses the leadership skills necessary to manage multiple stakeholders and project priorities in a dynamic environment.
The individual hired will represent McKnight International while supporting project delivery, client relationships, and operational excellence across a variety of infrastructure and consulting programs.
Requirements Leadership Scope- Lead projects through planning, design, implementation, construction, and closeout phases
- Provide direction and coordination across multidisciplinary project teams
- Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and stakeholder communications
- Support project reporting and client relationship management
- Promote accountability, collaboration, and project success
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Operate within a fast-paced environment where quality, schedule, and budget performance are critical
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and execution strategies
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and milestone tracking
- Coordinate planning efforts among project stakeholders and project teams
- Manage project activities from initiation through completion
- Monitor project performance and support achievement of project objectives
- Develop and manage project budgets
- Monitor expenditures and forecast project costs
- Identify budget variances and implement corrective actions as needed
- Support cost control and financial reporting efforts
