Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and approve fabrication procedures and specifications.
- Inspect fabricated components and coordinate Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) where applicable.
- Supervise fabrication teams and ensure materials meet specific grade requirements.
- Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for equipment or structural failures.
Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering or Technical discipline
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in a heavy industrial, mining, or petrochemical environment.
- In-depth knowledge of metallurgy, material sciences, and relevant codes.
- Ability to read and interpret complex fabrication blueprints.
- Solid understanding of industrial processes and technical specifications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced heavy industrial environment.
