This role can be filled with either a Network Engineer Level 1 or Network Engineer 2.
A current and active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph is required. No CCA's will be accepted at this time.
ResponsibilitiesPerforms network services from network design through implementation, maintenance, and upgrading of existing networks. Analyzes design, specifications, and related documents. Performs general LAN/CAN/WAN administration, schedules conversions and cutovers, coordinates with users and sites to resolve network incidents, translates business requirements into telecommunications requirements, designs and orders. Performs engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives in support of strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale infrastructures.
Assists telecommunications end users, operations personnel, and strategic program management with network interfaces.
Active TS/SCI Clearance with a MD Polygraph. No CCA's accepted.
Network Engineer Level 1- Five (5) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or related discipline and Three (3) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support.
- Seven additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, making the total experience requirement twelve (12) years in Network Engineering without a degree.
- Compliance with DoD 8570; IAT Level 1 is required.
- Five years of experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curricula.
- One year experience in Enterprise IT systems and projects, managing and performing integration operations and maintenance activities on multiple system domains of various security classification levels and diverse user bases concurrently.
- Eight (8) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline.
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security Systems Engineering, or related discipline and Six (6) years of relevant professional experience providing Network Engineering support.
- Ten additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree, making the total experience requirement twelve (12) years in Network Engineering without a degree.
- Compliance with DoD 8570; IAT Level 2 is required.
- Eight years of experience providing Network Engineering support and training commensurate with network engineering curricula.
