Job function:
Supply Chain Engineering / Process Engineering – Scientific/Technology.

Location:

Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

• Identifies, designs and develops the necessary equipment.
• Performs material tests.
• Studies the processes to implement improvements.
• Prepares and manages specifications.
• Co‑ordinates technicians and engineers about unusual problems.
• Purchases and designs equipment and tools that meet manufacturing, safety and environmental requirements.
• Participates in savings and capital projects.
• Complies with finance metrics.
• Evaluates and develops action plans for quality, safety, cost, service and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Performs activities of process/product validation.
• Supervises, coordinates and technically reviews the work of a limited group of technicians.
• Evaluates and provides feedback in a timely manner on performance and development plans for personnel in charge.
• Communicates business related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• Follows all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices.
• Ensures subordinates follow all company guidelines related to health, safety and environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.
• Ensures personal and company compliance with all federal, state, local and company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties assigned as needed.

• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and documentation, preferably in the medical industry.
• Experiment design experience.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis tools and management of statistical procedures.
• Knowledge of computer programs.
• Oral and written communication in Spanish.
• Process Engineer I, Intermediate English.
