Mechanical Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage projects for new construction and renovation
  • Develop and review design approaches, methodologies, and calculations.
  • Prepare and coordinate drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Oversee QA/QC reviews to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to mechanical engineering staff.
  • Coordinate multi-discipline project efforts and ensure design integration across all teams.
  • Support proposals, budgets, and project schedules.
  • Interface with clients to confirm project scope and deliverables.
  • Participate in construction administration activities including site visits, RFI responses, and shop drawing reviews.
  • Maintain compliance with codes, standards, and quality control procedures.

What You'll Bring to the Job

Enthusiastic desire to contribute in a team oriented culture. This is an on-site job.

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET certified program
  • 4–10+ years of experience in mechanical building systems or plant utility systems with some times spent in an engineering services company.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (local jurisdiction preferred).
  • Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen able to obtain a security clearance.
