Job Summary
Principal / Senior Principal Radio Frequency Systems Engineer – Linthicum, MD (100% onsite)
Requisition may be filled as a Principal RF Systems Engineer or a Senior Principal RF Systems Engineer.
Relocation assistance may be available.
Clearance required:
Secret. Ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP). Travel:
Yes, 10% of the time.
- Develop and field systems for advanced dedicated and multi‑function RF subsystems, including parametric representations, visualizations, and data‑driven analyses.
- Support performance‑compliant design of algorithms for next‑generation multifunction RF sensors.
- Provide novel solutions amid implementation constraints such as system interfaces, real‑time digital resource management, and hardware limitations.
- Participate in maturation and verification in digital simulation and hardware‑in‑the‑loop environments, authoring test requirements.
- Apply systems engineering knowledge to projects, engage in system architecture and concept development, and conduct candidate technology trade studies.
- Develop and derive requirements to align project specifications with objectives.
- Collaborate on algorithm development for system functionality and efficiency, and perform performance and data analyses.
- Work collaboratively with cross‑disciplinary teams of hardware, software, and firmware engineers.
- Identify improvements and creatively solve problems to enable true multi‑function operation.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year in STEM or related technical fields; or 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Ability to obtain SAP.
- Experience in RF applications, including models in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
- Experience in tracking and algorithm development.
- Experience in developing and implementing novel systems.
- Experience in RF applications.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, Master’s degree with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years in STEM or related technical fields; or 4 years of experience may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Current/active U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
- Ability to obtain SAP.
- Experience in RF applications, including models in MATLAB, Python, and/or C/C++.
- Experience in tracking and algorithm development.

- Familiarity with one or more RF sensing modalities and their applications.
