Overview
Hardware Test Engineer (Onsite – Tucson, AZ)
We are seeking a hands‑on Hardware Test Engineer to support the design, integration, and troubleshooting of engineering and production test systems. In this onsite Tucson role, you will play a key part in developing test solutions across hardware components and system‑level architectures while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full lifecycle of test hardware—from concept and design through validation and production support.
What You’ll Do- Design, integrate, and support hardware for engineering and production test systems
- Develop test solutions including cabling, schematics, interface assemblies, and system‑level configurations
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues in both lab and production environments
- Partner closely with cross‑functional teams (design, manufacturing, and test) to ensure robust and scalable solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes and system performance
- Experience designing and integrating hardware for test systems, interface assemblies, or related components
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware issues in engineering labs and/or production settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with schematic capture, cabling design, and/or circuit analysis
- Familiarity with automated test equipment (ATE) or production test workflows
- Ability to balance technical requirements with cost and schedule constraints in a structured environment
- Mid‑level (typically 2–5+ years of relevant experience)
- Can help in relocation assistance
- Work on impactful, real‑world hardware systems from development through production
- Collaborate with a diverse team of engineers across multiple disciplines
- Gain exposure to both engineering lab environments and manufacturing operations
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baltimore, MD.
