Responsibilities
  • Design temporary and permanent structures associated with utility, infrastructure, and heavy civil projects.
  • Develop calculation submittals and coordinate the development of design and shop drawings.
  • Support project pursuits and bids through preliminary evaluations and analyses.
  • Mentor and support other engineers, and communicate with design and field teams.
  • Provide support to the Principal Engineer with additional assigned duties.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and 4–8 years of experience in the design of temporary works, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects.
  • Master’s degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures is preferred.
  • Active Professional Engineer license in any state.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Mathcad, AutoCAD, and Finite Element Analysis.
  • Basic knowledge of geotechnical engineering and related structures is a plus.
  • Previous construction field experience is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
