OverviewTooling Design Engineers are the bridge between the design team and the production floor. In this role you will work with project‑focused manufacturing engineers, quality, operations, and suppliers to develop, define, and fabricate the tooling required to build, assemble, transport, and inspect the structures being manufactured at ST Engineering MRAS.
At ST Engineering MRAS, employees have opportunities to work on advanced technologies and systems that support thousands of customers worldwide. They develop complex aerostructures such as aircraft, rocket components, engine nacelles, thrust reversers, and advanced composites, using the latest digital technologies and automation. The company is expanding MRO capabilities.
Responsibilities- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering discipline or relevant work experience, training and skills in lieu of degree.
- 5+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing and/or product design.
- Experience working with composite material processes (lay‑up, bagging, trimming) is preferred.
- This position involves access to export‑controlled technology which requires U.S. Person status or government authorization. Applicants must be U.S. Persons or meet a legally recognized exception or authorization. Proof of status required upon hire.

Estimate salary range: $64,400 to $95,900 per year.
