Duration: 12 Months

Selected candidate needs to clear National, State & County Criminal background check (Last 7 years residence, employment, education verification, and criminal conviction records investigation) along with 10 Panel Drug Screening.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in either Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing or Materials Engineering

8+ years of related experience

4+ dedicated Aerospace experience

Manufacturing experience, including knowledge of ISO
9000 or AS9100.

Strong working knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Positive attitude and leadership characteristics.

Can work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.

Able to work both individually and as part of a team.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing tools.

Ability to work with individuals with diverse backgrounds, experience, and education levels.

Good communication skills to interact with all stakeholders (Engineering, Tooling, Production, Quality) to assure the requirement is completed correctly and delivered per schedule to the customer.

Proficiency with 3D CAD Software (Catia/3dx preferred)

Strong understanding of Aircraft structures, design guidelines, composite and metallic failure modes.

Excellent communication skills to interface with cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Strong client interfacing skills and exposure of working with onsite/offshore model

Experience in both metallic and composite aero structures/components

Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge of Aerospace industry and standards

Ability to excel in a hybrid virtual / on-site environment in a highly dynamic, team-oriented atmosphere

Job Description

Hands on experience in creating Work Instructions /Work Plans/Process Plans with thorough understanding of Aircraft Components/Assemblies build sequence.

Comprehensive understanding of Engineering Drawings, EBOM & MBOM, Task List, Build/Routing Sequence, Process Flow and Producibility checks

Experience with DWS (Detail Work Statement) creation, business case preparation and process planning standardization

Define, control, and validate manufacturing processes and operational sequences for New Product Introduction (NPI).

Troubleshoot manufacturing and assembly issues

Perform process trials and document findings and lessons learned

Demonstrate ability to design for manufacturing and production readiness

Design and assemble manufacturing fixtures, tools, and control systems.

Evaluate and procure new manufacturing equipment.

Develop practical manufacturing solutions using available equipment, tooling and materials

Fabricate or support fabrication of tooling

Support equipment set up, qualification and process validation activities

Evaluate new manufacturing technologies for future implementation

Floor Support:
Act as the technical point of contact for machinists and quality inspectors, providing guidance on blueprints, assembly instructions, and non-conformances.

Continuous Improvement:
Utilize Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and lower the Cost of Quality (COQ).

Quality & Compliance:
Ensure all build processes comply with ASME Y14 drafting standards, ISO quality systems, and FAA or defense certification regulations.

Participate in FMEA and root-cause analysis.

Documentation:
Author and maintain technical documents, work instructions, and production performance records.

Cost & Cycle Reduction:
Analyze cycle times, scrap rates, and labor hours to eliminate waste using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
