System Engineer 1 with Security Clearance

• The System Engineer applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases:
  Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement. You will interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• You will communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• You will be responsible for the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with your assigned project.
• The System Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:
• Experience with coding Python and Visual Basic for applications.
• Strong experience in applying RF theoretical and academic knowledge in EMI testing unintended emissions within HF, VHF, and UHF spectrum.
• Familiar with RF tools (network analyzers, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes) and components (amplifiers, filters, isolators, attenuators, terminators, etc).
• Formulating and documenting test plans.
• Draft and issue technical recommendations through formal test reports.
• Specify and/or review system and component technical performance requirements to ensure optimal functionality while meeting E3 noise electric field limit.
• Collaborate internal and external agency stakeholders to ensure technical support enables the E3 Program and customer mission requirements.
• Must be able to travel 3 times per year for 7-10 days at a time.
• Preferred but not required to have experience in electromagnetic compatibility testing, electromagnetic interference mitigation, and /or antenna calibration.
• Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

• A Bachelor's degree in a Qualified Engineering Field (Examples of Qualified engineering fields include:
  Aeronautics, Biomedical, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Mechanical, Nuclear, Software, Systems, and Engineering Management) or a related discipline (Examples of related disciplines include: Chemistry, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, and Physics) from an accredited college or university plus one (1) year of systems engineering experience.
• Twelve (12) credit hours of college coursework in one (1) or more of the ISO/IEC 15288 Technical Process Areas may be substituted for the required one (1) year of systems engineering experience.
• A High School Diploma or GED and four (4) years of general system engineering experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
