Looking for an opportunity to play a critical part in overseeing the maintenance and engineering projects in a heavy industrial environment? TAI Engineering has an immediate opening for a Plant Engineer to spearhead maintenance and engineering projects within a manufacturing facility.

Here's a Taste of What You'll Be Doing:

• Implement and direct quality-control programs, operating procedures and monitoring strategies to ensure uniformity and uphold standards for both the raw materials and finished products.
• Make continual improvements to the equipment
• Help manage equipment modernization, installation and/or relocation projects.
• Review the layout of certain pieces of equipment and work stations
• Study production-equipment times to establish or revise production standards.
• Make recommendations to optimize production processes
• Solve operations-related quality problems.
• Ensure safety of production equipment.
• Train operators to help meet production goals, as needed.
• Provide maintenance employees with technical support.
• Find solutions to recurring equipment breakdown.
• Assist in reliability of the equipment.
• Assist in implementing preventative maintenance software.
• Provide engineering support to ensure that corporate goals are reached.
• Be involved in every step of engineering projects, including design, construction and implementation.

You'll Be a Perfect Fit if You Have:

• Bachelors degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical engineering preferred).
• Eight or more years of experience in an industrial environment overseeing maintenance and engineering projects.

Additional Offering:

• Competitive salary offering ($115,000 - $130,000).
• Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
