Piper Companies is currently looking for a CAD Drafter in the Baltimore, MD area to work a fully onsite role. The CAD Drafter will join an engineering firm driven by a commitment to contribute to planning, design, and documentation efforts for projects.
Responsibilities for the CAD Drafter:- Collaborate with the design team to develop drawings based on marked-up plans and verbal instructions.
- Generate PDF and hard-copy drawing packages for project review and distribution as needed.
- Ensure consistency and compliance with established drafting practices and standards.
- Assist the CAD Manager and support ongoing departmental initiatives.
- Carry out additional responsibilities and special projects as assigned.
- Two years of experience in computer operations, preferably in an engineering or architecture setting
- Hourly Rate: $20-30/hr with commensurate experience
