V2X is hiring for a VX20 Work Center Supervisor to join our team in Patuxent River, MD.

Supervises a shop or group with day-to-day maintenance tasks on assigned E-2D fixed wing aircraft avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, and navigation systems in assigned aircraft, equipment and machinery under an RDT&E program. This position is located in Patuxent River, MD on the Naval Test Wing Atlantic (NTWL) Program.

• Coordinates and supervises activities of personnel, determining and directing specific work
• Assists in the operations of the maintenance departments per the CNAFINST 4790.2 series.
• Ensures full and effective employment of assigned personnel.
• Ensures all work is scheduled and performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• Responsible for compliance of special programs as assigned. Ensures direct reports are fully
• compliant with all approved procedures.
• Ensures all direct reports and maintenance employees receive job and safety training.
• Identifies material and special tooling needs to accomplish the daily work assignment.
• Provides employees with proper training on Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Provide technical training and assistance as needed.
• May lead and direct a group of two or more individuals.
• Comply with all current sections of COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2 series applicable to aircraft
• maintenance and ALSS.
• Working knowledge of technical publications, NAMP and NALCOMIS aircraft maintenance

• Perform other job related duties as may be assigned.

• Knowledge of Safe working techniques and procedures.
• Ability to plan and schedule maintenance work requirements.
• Requires working technical knowledge of aircraft, machinery, facilities and equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude in order to offer technical direction in all maintenance areas.
• Understand technical language terms in associated field.
• Ability to interact effectively with personnel at all organizational levels.
• Ability to use a computer.
• Must have full knowledge of Navy 4790.2 series and the RDT&E community
• Knowledge of military publications, drawings, blueprints, microfilm, diagrams and schematics is
• Knowledge of military and/or company forms required by work requirements.
• Working knowledge of safety rules, regulations and procedures.
• Possess a valid US State driver's license.
• Ability to read and interpret data is required.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to obtain a Government flight line driver’s license.

• High School degree or equivalent required.
• Associate’s Degree or trade license preferred.
• A&P License/FAA Certification desirable but not required
• Six (6) years’ experience in the aircraft maintenance environment.
• Experience with E-2D fixed wing aircraft avionics equipment, such as radar, communications, and navigation systems.
• Completion of specialized courses in aircraft structural repair is required.
• This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
