We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Pricing Analyst to support competitive federal government proposals and strategic pricing initiatives. This role will lead cost proposal development across a portfolio of DoD and/or Federal Civilian opportunities and ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, and other applicable regulations.
The ideal candidate brings strong federal contracting experience, advanced Excel modeling capabilities, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Contracts, Program Management, and Executive Leadership.
Key Responsibilities Proposal Pricing & Cost Volume Development- Lead development of compliant and competitive cost proposals for prime and subcontract opportunities (FFP, CPFF, CPAF, T&M, IDIQ, GWAC).
- Build detailed cost models including labor, fringe, overhead, G&A, ODCs, subcontractor costs, and fee structures.
- Develop Basis of Estimates (BOEs), cost narratives, and pricing assumptions aligned with solicitation requirements (RFP, RFQ, RFI).
- Ensure compliance with FAR, DFARS, CAS, and solicitation-specific instructions.
- Coordinate subcontractor pricing inputs and perform cost/price analyses.
- Support color team reviews and incorporate pricing feedback into final submissions.
- Conduct price-to-win (PTW) analyses and competitive assessments.
- Perform sensitivity analysis and financial modeling to support bid strategy decisions.
- Analyze historical cost data, indirect rates, and forward pricing rate agreements (FPRAs).
- Evaluate risk and profitability across contract types and recommend pricing strategies.
- Provide executive-level summaries of financial impacts and bid scenarios.
- Maintain pricing templates, tools, and standardized methodologies.
- Support DCAA audits and cost realism evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to Truthful Cost or Pricing Data (TINA) requirements where applicable.
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to validate indirect rates and financial assumptions.
- Work closely with Business Development and Capture teams from opportunity identification through award.
- Support negotiations, fact-finding sessions, and post-submission clarifications.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior pricing analysts.
