Job Details:
As a Controller, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of all financial statements and reports. You will also play a key role in the development and execution of financial operations aligned with the company’s business goals.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
2. Coordinating and preparing internal and external financial statements.
3. Working closely with the management team to develop the annual budget and forecasts, monitor progress, and present financial metrics.
4. Implementing and maintaining a system of controls over accounting transactions.
5. Managing the production of the annual budget and forecasts.
6. Implementing and overseeing the company's ERP system.
7. Using Quick Books and Strata for various accounting tasks.
8. Collaborating with the executive team to make decisions regarding company's financial strategy and operations.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in financial management, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. They will also possess the following qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA designation is preferred.
2. Proficient in the use of Quick Books and Strata.
3.
Experience with ERP implementation and financial statement preparation.
4. Solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles.
5. Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations.
6. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.
7. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage, guide, and lead a team to ensure synergy and productivity.
8. Ability to strategize and solve problems.
9. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
10. Excellent communication and people skills.
11. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
12. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.
