Hybrid position of Financial Analyst Banking client in Baltimore, MD

Financial Analyst

Location:

Baltimore, MD 21230 – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days at home) with 12-month assignment. Initial weeks may require 4–5 days in the office.

• Support the Fixed Income Product Control team by helping to produce daily profit and loss (P&L) for its various strategies.
• Reconcile the Business Units estimated P&L against the firm’s sub-ledger P&L.
• Learn the products and strategies used by the business and develop an understanding of finance and risk systems information flow to resolve daily breaks.
• Demonstrate keen attention to detail and effectively communicate with stakeholders across all levels.

• Required:
  
  Associate’s degree with 1–2 years of experience in finance or accounting, OR a Bachelor’s degree with a specific interest in finance or accounting.

  Skills:
  • Strong analytical/technical skills (proficiency in Excel).
  • Experience in Finance/Accounting.
  • Great communication skills.
