Responsibilities
- Bridge the gap between deep actuarial technicalities and hands‑on underwriting leadership to drive long‑term profitability and sound decision‑making.
- Actuarial & Analytics Lead: reserve calculations and pricing for auto products; challenge loss provisions; manage IFRS 17 reporting; automate data structures and validate integrity; provide actuarial inputs for income recognition.
- Underwriting: develop and implement underwriting guidelines; collaborate with sales and accounting on product structure and acceptability criteria; ensure full regulatory compliance.
- Set strategic direction for risk management; mentor and train analysts; drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
- ACAS or near FCAS qualification.
- 5+ years of actuarial experience.
- Strong background in the P&C space and proficiency in Excel and SQL.
- Open‑source modeling experience (R/Python) is a major asset.

Salary: 120‑150k
