This position, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is accountable for leading FPI’s Budget, FP&A, and Incentive Compensation Teams in managing:
- The FPI Operating and Capital Budget
- Modeling for Current and New Business Initiatives
- Performance Incentives for leadership and staff
- The Dean’s Performance Based Incentive Compensation (PBIC) Program for Faculty
- Fair Market Compensation
- Process Improvement and Efficiencies
For each area of responsibility, this position provides communication, guidance, and recommendations to Senior Leadership, clinical administrators, and other departmental representatives. Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Provides leadership and coaching to staff members. Works in collaboration with FPI Corporate departments, practices, and/or external resources to achieve results.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with leadership experience in a financial setting
- 7-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- MBA, Masters, CPA preferred
The referenced base salary range represents the low and high end of University of Maryland’s Faculty Physician’s Inc. salary range for this position. Some candidates will not be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the successful candidate’s geographical location, skills, work experience, market conditions, internal equity, responsibility factor and span of control, education/training and other qualifications.
