Position
Morgan Stanley Services Group Inc. seeks a Director, Team Specialist in Baltimore, Maryland.
ResponsibilitiesOversee the entire client on-boarding process from an operational perspective including client party set up, account initiation and approvals, account opening, post account set ups, and coordination with downstream teams ensuring the account is ready to trade.
Manage the onboarding timeline and partner with the business unit to meet client deadlines.
Advise for regulatory compliance status and Know Your Customer due diligence.
Manage client onboarding for asset classes including Prime Brokerage, Foreign Exchange, Equity and Fixed Income Derivatives, Derivatives Clearing, Mortgage-Backed Securities, Commodities, Repo and Stock Loan.
Coordinate with necessary approval groups including Sales, Credit, Documentation, AML/KYC, Market Regulations, Tax and IED/FID Counter party Risk.
Coordinate with Internal and External clients to gather required documentation to maintain compliance with firm KYC.
Coordinate Ready to Trade tasks post account opening including reporting and entitlements, collateral, electronic trade mapping, and settlement setups.
QualificationsRequires a Master’s degree in Global Finance, Finance, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years as a Financial and Operations Analyst, Client Onboarding Manager, Analyst, or related.
Requires two (2) years of experience with:
Using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Requires one (1) year experience with:
Derivative instruments including Foreign Exchange, Fixed Income Derivatives, and Derivatives Clearing; extracting and filtering data to identify accounts and products opened for clients to identify process improvements.
Requires any amount of experience with:
Reviewing fund documents as part of onboarding due diligence process, including Investment Management Agreement, Prospectuses, and Offering Memorandum; derivatives trading and collateral agreements including International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA) / Credit Support Annex (CSA), Master Confirmation Agreements, Clearing Agreements, and Give-Up Agreements.
Salary range: $93,400 - $108,000 per year. Eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award and participation in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which may include a discretionary bonus component.
