Job Description
Summary: Responsible for managing the Bank’s Interest Rate Risk and liquidity stress models. Will be an integral part of a team developing internal profitability models for profit center, products and customers. Will assist in period end reporting and analysis to include the CECL calculation. Position requires strong analytical skills. It will be a dynamic position, with changing demands. Individual should be willing to work on a variety of projects at one time.
Job Requirements- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics or equivalent work experience. - Requires a minimum of three years’ experience in financial analysis, credit analysis or risk management support with a commercial bank or a related financial services company.
- Requires experience with report writing.
- Must be process and detail oriented.
- Requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to interact professionally, build rapport and have an impact across all levels of the organization.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise using Microsoft Excel.
- Primary contact person with the Bank’s service provider for ALM/IRR modeling.
- Review and improve quality of data loaded into the model. Prepares the Bank’s quarterly analysis reports ensuring compliance with Bank Policy and regulatory guidelines.
- Assists in the implementation of new financial reporting and analysis software.
- Participate with the team developing internal profitability models at the organization, product and customer level.
- Will assist in the monthly close and reporting to include board reporting, SEC reporting and regulatory reporting.
- Assists in various internal and external audits, providing audit data and information.
Perform ad hoc reports, peer analysis and‑special projects as assigned.
