Job Summary

Sr. Relationship Manager – Healthcare, Education & Not-for-Profit Team (HENFP), Global Commercial Bank. Focus on clients and prospects in Maryland, DC, VA with annual revenues starting at $50 million.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an extensive portfolio of HENFP clients and prospects.
  • Acquire, deepen, and maintain profitable client relationships through sales and prospecting.
  • Understand and interpret financial and cash flow statements to assess clients’ financial conditions and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with domestic and international teammates, including Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, Wealth Management, and Product Specialists in Credit, Treasury Management, and Merchant Services to design and deliver financial solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate dialogues with complex clients and prospects on industry, alternative capital structures, and business issues.
  • Coach and mentor peers, utilizing leadership skills.
  • Adapt to changes in sales practices and market/industry conditions.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years’ experience in commercial lending, corporate finance, or relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a portfolio of HENFP clients with revenues >$50 million.
  • Proven track record of prospecting new business and closing profitable transactions.
  • Professional sales skills, including planning, execution, and follow‑up of client meetings.
  • Strong corporate finance, capital markets, and accounting acumen.
  • Financial modeling experience; completion of formal credit training preferred.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability.
  • Ability to organize, facilitate, lead, and negotiate with a team of bank associates.
  • Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 & 63 licenses required (must obtain within 180 days).
Desired Skills
  • Undergraduate degree in related field (MBA desirable).
  • Existing knowledge of the market.
