Collateral Analyst ; Baltimore, MD & York, PA locations

Overview

Hybrid 4 days in office, salary dependent on location. Analyze, review and evaluate the validity, formula valuations, credit worthiness and collectability of accounts receivable to reduce risk of charge-offs and to correlate the findings and results with the customers eligibility to borrow.

• Analyze, review and evaluate monthly customer accounts receivable aging’s to ascertain validity for portfolio of formula based lines of credit.
• Calculate ineligible figure utilizing aging information from customer.
• Calculate collateral availability and process line of credit requests accordingly.
• Work directly with customer to resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze and review clients financial statements, reporting discrepancies.
• Work directly with Loan Examiners and Loan Administration Department.
• Identify suspected deficiencies in field examinations, reporting deficiencies to management.
• Prepare collateral and loan trend reporting.
• Report delinquent reporting exceptions.
• Understand and adhere to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company’s Risk Appetite.
• Design, implement, maintain and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis.
• Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management.
• Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
• Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
• Complete other related duties as assigned.

• Associate s degree
• 1 year commercial banking or related experience
• Strong math skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
