Collateral Analyst II

Overview

Hybrid role, 4 days in office. Responsible for analyzing, reviewing, and evaluating the validity, formula valuations, creditworthiness, and collectability of accounts receivable for complex commercial relationships. Reduces risk of charge-offs and correlates findings with customers’ eligibility to borrow.

• Analyze monthly customer accounts receivable aging to determine validity for portfolios of complex asset-based and formula-based lines of credit.
• Calculate ineligible figures using aging information from customers.
• Determine collateral availability and process line-of-credit requests accordingly.
• Work directly with customers to resolve discrepancies.
• Review credit information and report status to management.
• Analyze clients' financial statements and report discrepancies.
• Assist Account Representatives with line-of-credit renewal processes.
• Collaborate with Loan Examiners and the Loan Administration Department.
• Identify suspected examination deficiencies and report them to management.
• Assist portfolio managers with loan administration and credit administration responsibilities.
• Report delinquent reporting exceptions.
• Understand and adhere to the company’s risk and regulatory standards, policies, and controls in accordance with the company’s risk appetite.
• Design, implement, maintain, and enhance internal controls to mitigate risk on an ongoing basis.
• Identify risk-related issues that require escalation to management.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum basic accounting knowledge.
• Strong math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
