Senior Credit Underwriter

Job Purpose

Ensures most effective credit limit service in terms of quality of decision, turnaround time and communication toward customers. Attracts new customers/prospects by quality of service and underwriting decisions and builds a trustee relationship with customers, to improve customer portfolio profitability.

• Decide credit limit requests consistently, within response time delays included in the Risk Business Model by assessing buyer with all information available in IRP and his/her own market knowledge.
• Responsible for a dedicated customer portfolio, steering it and providing a proactive service level, according to PH classification by regularly meeting customers and brokers and by organizing telephone conferences.
• Contribute to supporting Commercial in steering customer loss ratio and implementing necessary actions to ensure or restore portfolio profitability.
• Takes responsibility in projects and initiatives supporting RBM and IRP related matters.
• Builds relationships with other core functions.

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance or related discipline.
• Advanced degree, MBA or MS Finance preferred.
• 4-7 years of experience in financial management in banking, credit insurance brokerage or a credit insurance environment.
• Excellent computer skills, with an understanding of financial software and spreadsheet packages.
• Market knowledge in dedicated business industries.
• Strong business expertise and business/finance assessment skills.
• In-depth knowledge and experience in Allianz Trade Underwriting; demonstrated commercial awareness.
• Basic awareness of Artificial Intelligence technologies and enthusiasm to learn and integrate AI into everyday business processes.
• Data analysis skills.

$105,000 - $115,000
