Trading Help Desk ($16/hr W2 - USC & GC only)

Contract position in Finance – part of the fixed income operations group. Responsible for managing risk on a daily basis.

• Understand risk implications of fixed income operations
• Ensure all functions and procedures are performed in a timely and correct manner, such as trade checkout, position reconciliation, and wash account reconciliation
• Work with the trading desk, sales, and other operations groups to ensure trade processing
• Cross‑train with other team members
• Assist on any issues and provide timely escalation to desk and operations management

• Strong communication skills; willingness to transfer knowledge
• Team player who collaborates across multiple operational areas
• Multi‑tasking and time‑management skills
• Ability to identify and escalate the issues to senior management and trading desk(s)
• Analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Works well in a time‑sensitive environment
