Investment Analyst

Our client is a national private equity firm launching a Baltimore office. The firm takes a flexible, long-term investment approach and partners closely with operators and management teams to evaluate opportunities, execute transactions, and build long-term value across its portfolio.

The Investment Analyst will support the investment team across deal evaluation, financial analysis, diligence, market research, execution, and portfolio monitoring. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-potential early-career candidate to build a foundation in private equity within a collaborative, hands-on investment environment.

• Build financial models and perform investment analysis for new opportunities
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and other materials for internal review
• Conduct company, industry, market, and competitive research to support investment theses
• Assist with due diligence, including financial analysis, data review, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Support transaction execution, including preparation and review of deal-related materials
• Monitor portfolio company performance through financial reporting, valuation support, and ongoing analysis

• Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in finance, accounting, economics, business, or another analytical field
• Strong academic record
• Strong Excel, financial modeling, research, and analytical skills
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• High attention to detail and sound judgment
• Intellectually curious, coachable, hard-working, and eager to learn
