Associate Trading Analyst

Role Overview

Constellation Energy Generation LLC seeks an Associate Trading Analyst in Baltimore, MD to serve as the Trading Desk point‑of‑contact for cross‑functional teams and to be the resident expert on analytical tools while actively participating in community and ERG initiatives. The analyst will leverage a strong analytical background to deepen understanding of positions, risks, and P&L by enhancing resource utilization across tools such as Sim Cube, CTF, Finance Cube, AMP, UPlan, Panorama, Sunairio, Genscape, Velocity Suite, and other platforms.

The role involves identifying fundamental risks and opportunities within the wholesale trading portfolio, automating and optimizing analytical resource use, and developing and maintaining a market view that spans near‑term to long‑range planning. Progress toward ownership and accountability of P&L will be achieved through strategic positioning in OTC, FTR, and mid‑market trades.

• Serve as Trading Desk point‑of‑contact and act as the resident expert on analytical tools.
• Leverage analytical expertise to deepen understanding of positions, risks, and P&L.
• Improve resource utilization across platforms such as Sim Cube, CTF, Finance Cube, AMP, UPlan, Panorama, Sunairio, Genscape, Velocity Suite, and related tools.
• Identify fundamental risks and opportunities within the wholesale trading portfolio.
• Automate and optimize the employment of analytical resources.
• Develop and maintain a market view covering near‑term to long‑range planning.
• Advance ownership and accountability of P&L through position‑taking in OTC, FTR, and mid‑market trades.
• Participate in community and ERG initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline, including Data Science, Data Analytics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field.
• Minimum of six months experience in performance business analysis, including statistical, econometric, and/or marketing analysis, data collection, and database development or maintenance.

Salary range: $61,800 to $92,400. Benefits include a bonus program, 401(k) with company match, employee stock purchase program, medical, dental, and vision benefits, a wellness program, and paid time off for vacation, holidays, and sick days.
