This full-time Grade 14 position with the St. Mary's County Health Department prepares budgets and budget modifications, performs fiscal services and accounting duties, and reviews methods and practices to improve agency Quality Improvement processes. The role is located in Leonardtown, Maryland.
Key qualifications- Five years of experience in budget preparation, presentation and execution
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and one year of budget experience (alternative qualification)
- 30 credit hours of graduate education in accounting, business administration, economics, finance, political science or public administration (alternative qualification)
- U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Budget Officer classifications or Financial Management specialty codes (alternative qualification)
