Growing independent wealth management firm Ellicott City/Columbia area, MD (In-office)
A $2B+ independent wealth management firm seeks an experienced retirement plan professional to take ownership of and grow its retirement plan practice across 401(k), cash balance, and other employer-sponsored plans.
What You’ll Do- Take ownership of existing retirement plan relationships while expanding the practice
- Pursue new opportunities through existing clients, firm relationships, and outside lead sources
- Connect with prospects, set meetings, present solutions, and close new business
- Manage ongoing plan sponsor relationships and build scalable processes
- $100,000–$150,000 base + up to $50,000 performance-based upside
- Strong internal marketing and advisory resources
- 5+ years of retirement plan experience preferred
- Strong plan sponsor and plan design knowledge
- Proactive, entrepreneurial, client-facing approach
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Must be within a 45-minute commute to the Ellicott City/Columbia area, MD
