This position conducts announced and unannounced field inspections of licensed cannabis growers, processors, and dispensaries throughout Maryland to ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and regulatory standards. The OCR Investigator will inspect facilities, equipment, records, and operational practices; review financial and inventory data; and prepare compliance reports. The role requires frequent statewide travel and works collaboratively with other investigators in the Maryland Cannabis Administration's Office of Compliance and Regulation.
Keyqualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Four years of administrative staff or professional work experience (or equivalent education substitution)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Professional investigative experience with law enforcement and/or regulatory agency (desired)
- Experience conducting complex investigations and related interviews (desired)
- Experience interpreting and applying statutes and regulations (desired)
